Last month, Clarins’ Thierry Mugler announced it is dropping the designer’s first name and creating a new logo and new branding. Now, the first new fragrance with its new name has launched – Mugler Angel Muse.

The ad campaign for Angel Muse stars Georgia May Jagger. Jagger’s mother, model Jerry Hall, was the first face of the Angel perfume line.

The Bottle

Angel Muse is a woody gourmand, housed in a bottle that has a space-age look. The scent was created by Givaudan’s Quentin

Georgia May Jagger
Bisch, and is a reinterpretation of Angel. It features features notes of grapefruit, pink berries, hazelnut cream, vetiver and patchouli.

Perfumer Bisch spoke to Cafleurebon about having to reinvent such an iconic scent, saying, “I had to understand and come to grips with it, without letting myself become too intimidated by this legend, this “masterpiece.” “

he bottle design is described as a “cosmic pebble”, made of an elliptical, silver, metal ring with gently ambery, nude glass in the middle which reportedly evokes the surface of Mars.

The Campaign

To promote the launch, Angel Muse is part of Mugler’s latest social media campaign, I #HateToLove – asking consumers to “confess addiictions” while posting photos on social media of what they hate to love.

Check it out on Instagram, at #HateToLove or #AngelMuse.
